The Peppermint Candy Club is all about showing Love!

When Carmen was a child, Robby Robinson, her grandfather, started The Peppermint Candy Club. With his charm, great smile, warm heart, and a pocketful of peppermints, he offered his Love and generosity to children of all ages.

It was his endeavor to, as he states, “show love to the unloved.” If he noticed that a child was having a bad day, or lived in a home where a little more Love could have been sprinkled in the air, he was sure to hand over a peppermint. That peppermint would automatically induct the child into The Peppermint Candy Club, thus causing them to show Love to someone or something else. Children worked very hard at getting into, and staying in the Peppermint Candy Club. Some children intentionally approached him with a sad look on their face just to be connected to Granddaddy’s club. Titles like, Regional President or Sr. Vice President, were given to those who endeavored to offer their Love liberally. These “Love offerings” embraced other children, animals, the elderly, the earth, etc. It is a warm fire that has spread from coast to coast and generation to generation.

Over the years, Carmen Rubin has held onto her Grandfather’s position that Love changes the world. She is furthering Granddaddy’s dream to warm every home with Love, not only by including a peppermint as a symbol in all of her books, but also by continuing to encourage others to be committed to showing Love.

Once a person purchases an item from the Peppermint Candy Publishing Company, they too become a member of The Peppermint Candy Club.

The Peppermint Candy Club is wholeheartedly a call for Love and service to the community, the nation, and the world!
